This unique Scandinavian inspired bolthole, is located as the name suggests in an idyllic location on the banks of the River Wye, in the heart of this popular market town. It benefits from uninterrupted views up to Bakewell Bridge, and beyond and down the river. The interior is styled from the owner s Scandinavian heritage and love of Danish design. Offering an oasis of Nordic calm in amongst the hustle and bustle of the vibrant market town, with cafes, restaurants and shops only a few minutes stroll away and easy access to the country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. Once the old sawmill, the building has been converted in recent years to provide accommodation in a unique position, with the original fabric and style of the building having been retained. A single flight of stairs takes you to the first floor, the accommodation then all being on one level, having been newly fitted out in a modern Scandinavian contemporary style. You enter the apartment, with oak flooring adding to its character throughout, to your left is the bedroom, with super king size double bed (this can be split into two singles on request) the drama of the vaulted sloping ceiling adding to the rooms charm. On your right is the very good sized bathroom, with bath, toilet, hand basin and separate shower cubicle. A further door opens into the splendour of the open plan fully equipped kitchen to your right and to your left the lounge dining area enjoying the stunning views of the River Wye.
