This property is a great base for enjoying the festivals and events that the nearby historic town of Ludlow offers. Ludlow is a thriving market town, boasting nearly five hundred listed buildings, with the original medieval street layout surviving almost unchanged. Situated on a cliff above the River Teme, it is well known for its September Food and Drink Festival and has a strong reputation for providing excellent local fare all year round. Walkers will enjoy the trails from the door, and with 12 acres of verdant farmland to enjoy this is a wonderful family friendly spot. Clee Hill and child friendly Mortimer Forest are both also within easy reach. Step into an open plan sitting room with wood burner, and kitchen/diner adjacent. There are two bedrooms, a super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request) downstairs with a neighbouring bathroom which includes a shower and WC. Upstairs is an en suite super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) with rainforest style shower and WC. Guests at the cottage have the use of their own decking to the east of the cottage, including their own table and chairs and a brand new charcoal Wella BBQ. There is also an outdoor treat with a shabby chic bar simply bring your own beer, stoke up the wood burner and test your skills at traditional darts shared with Ludlow Barn). The barn, a semi detached property connected to its larger and equally luxurious twin, Ludlow Barn, is set within 12 beautiful acres of farmland which guests and their families are invited to enjoy. Dogs are also welcome. Please Note: This cottage is given as a priority to Redford Farm Barns until 3 months before the booking date.
2 bedrooms, a ground floor king size bedroom and an en suite king size bedroom upstairs (both beds can be adjusted to twins on request at time of booking). Each bedroom has its own shower room . Open plan living space with well equipped kitchen with Fridge/freezer, oven/gas hob, dishwasher . Wood burning stove (first basket of logs included). Caterers available should you prefer someone else to do the cooking. Hairdryers. Cot, highchair and toys available on request. Use of own decking to the east of the cottage, including table and chairs and a brand new charcoal Wella BBQ.. A hot tub can be made available through hiring in from a local company. If you wish to book a hot tub for your stay then please contact the owner.. Please be aware that the garden for neighbouring properties Ludlow Barn and Tenbury Cottage is not fenced separately, you have your own designated garden areas that are separated by rope . New Wellness Area now open consisting of a beautiful Baltic wood fired sauna with stunning countryside views a cold plunge tub. An outdoor cold water shower and a seating area for guests to enjoy between our beautiful old pair of pear trees. The health benefits of hot and cold therapy include improved immunity, relaxation, reduction of stress, relief of pain and much more. To hire the space, please contact the owners direct in advance of your stay. There is a one off cost of 50 75 to use this facility for the duration of your stay.. Additional services can be organised directly with the owner, these include hire of hot tub, bell tents for additional guests and private chefs.
