The regional towns of Barnstaple (8 miles) and South Molton (10 miles) are nearby with popular markets. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the Tarka Trail (10 miles) and walk through the surrounding landscape, stunning in any season. 2.5 miles away will take you to the village of High Bickington where you will also find the community shop here which sells a range of produce. The nearby historic village of Torrington is 7 miles and is home to RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal.
