Walk along the promenade of multi coloured beach huts or paddle along the shore. Walking enthusiasts and nature lovers won't be disappointed either, with the scenic coastal path close by, and the North Yorkshire Moor National Park within easy reach. The beautiful seaside villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby are all within easy reach. This beach runs for 9 miles from the South Gare (mouth of the Tees) to Saltburn. There is only a restriction at a small area of the beach in Saltburn where dogs are not allowed in May to Sep.. Shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. Storage for bikes.
