The nearby market town of Keswick has lots of nice independent shops and events. If you are looking for a more unusual activity why not try walking an Alpaca! There are some lovely walks around Lingholm walled garden or for the more adventurous walkers why not venture up Skiddaw. Use the launch which is a short walk away to get around the local area and take in the spectacular views around the Lake. Walking into the property you will enter the hallway, up the stairs you will find the lounge which is a bright sociable space with comfortable seating, Smart TV, Blu Ray DVD and wireless speakers. From this room you can see Derwentwater.
