Attractive bungalow with plenty to do on your doorstep, it is very easy to leave the car and head out on foot. The pretty market town of Keswick is a great base to explore from, surrounded by the mountains of Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (6 miles), and located between Derwentwater (2 miles) and Bassenthwaite (7 miles). Take a boat cruise on Derwentwater and hop on and off at the eight jetties dotted around the lake. Conquer the stunning Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities, or for something more challenging, Skiddaw is a slightly longer, higher walk at over 3,000 feet. Visit Theatre by the Lake to take in a show and stop off at Crow Park opposite, where you can get 360 degree views of the mountains along with stunning views down the lake towards the exceptionally beautiful Borrowdale valley. Enter the property beneath the covered porch and step into the hallway where there is space to hang your coats and kick off your muddy boots. The bungalow has a contemporary feel throughout and offers bright and cosy accommodation. Off the hallway you will find an attractive double bedroom with views across to Skiddaw. The lounge is next door with crackling wood burner and comfortable sofas to relax in while watching a movie on the Smart TV. There is a dining area within the lounge where you can sit down and make plans for the day ahead over dinner. There is also direct access from the lounge out onto the garden. At the end of the hallway you will find the second bedroom which is a spacious king size with ample storage and dressing table. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and slimline dishwasher. The garden offers a private space with patio and is a lovely spot to sit out on a warm day whilst enjoying a coffee or glass of wine.
