The historic town of Shotley Bridge is located on the border of Northumberland separated by the River Derwent. With plenty of river walks to choose from, it s also a great place for wildlife spotting. Explore the Northern Pennines, waterfalls and Derwent Gorge, which is only 3 miles from the property. There are ample local pubs and restaurants to visit in Shotley Bridge, as well as an 18 hole golf course with glorious views. Walk through the well kept, shared gardens and step into the spacious open plan living space. Kick back and relax on the L shaped sofa bed which can sleep two extra guests and enjoy a film on the Smart TV. Cook up a storm in the well designed, fully fitted kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. To the back of the lodge is the double bedroom and a perfectly formed shower room with a WC. The lodge is flooded with light through the large front windows, bringing the outside in. The lodge provides parking for two cars; from here, walk along the gravel path through the well presented gardens and immerse yourself in the countryside sounds. Gaze at the stars while relaxing in the spacious and private outdoor hot tub or enjoy the great British sunshine with a BBQ. This property has a private water supply.
