The property enjoys rural location near the charming village of Barbon (1 mile), with its famous village, shop and pub. Just 4 miles away is the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. Walking/cycling trails from your doorstep allow you to explore the area s fells, dales, rivers, woods and more. The cottage is just yards from a footpath which takes you up Middleton Fell. You re close to where Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire meet, as well as 15 miles from Kendal, the gateway to the Lake District, and the largest lake, Windermere, just beyond that with lakeside walks, boat trips and other water based activities available. For the keen golfer, there are 3 golf clubs within a 10 mile radius. Enter this delightful cottage through the main door and make your way into the cosy open plan kitchen/dining area.
