Take a walk around the 5 acres of the owner s grounds, or head into the Exmoor National Park (10 miles) with its magical moorlands and woodland walks. You could also visit Lynton and Lynmouth, which are connected by a funicular railway, and discover the Valley of the Rocks. Only 3 miles away is the pretty market town of South Molton, with its pannier market and independent craft shops and cafes, or enjoy a visit to Quince Honey Farm. The stunning North Devon coast is 20 miles and is an excellent place for surfing, paddleboarding and most other water sports activities. Stepping into this pretty, open plan cottage, kick off your muddy boots and relax in front of the cosy wood burner. The comfy sofa offers the perfect place to settle down and enjoy a favourite old movie on the TV with a DVD. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to cook up a favourite recipe for two, or a traditional hearty breakfast before your day of adventure. Take the stairs to the first floor where you will find a bedroom with a double bed and lovely countryside views, plus an en suite shower room with WC. Directly outside is a small patio area to enjoy your morning coffee, and 5 acres of beautiful shared grounds to explore. Or why not borrow a range of art supplies including easel from the home owner and try your hand at paining the beautiful surroundings.
