Nestled in a tranquil location within 9 acres, this charming, converted cider house offers a perfect gateway to explore the picturesque Quantock and Blackdown Hills. Make family memories by watching the lambing and bottle feed orphaned lambs in the spring, enjoy feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs and in the autumn try your hand at apple pressing. Make the most of this great location and venture to both the north and south coast, including visits the sandy shores of Blue Anchor and Watchet in Somerset or venture further south to the renowned Jurassic coast. The county town of Taunton is virtually on your doorstep (4.5 miles) and has an array of amenities. Outdoors enthusiasts are well catered for with the stunning Quantock and Blackdown Hills nearby, and a little further afield Exmoor National Park. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include numerous National Trust properties, Hestercombe Gardens (5.7 miles) and for a touch of nostalgia, hop aboard the the West Somerset Railway (2 miles). Step through a stable door and down two steps into this stunning property and you will immediately find yourself in a beautifully light and spacious entrance hall. Head up 3 steps to the fantastically appointed open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a beautiful, exposed beam. This brilliantly sociable room is made for relaxing, where you can enjoy a movie on the Smart TV or curl up on the sofa with your favourite book. There is a fantastically appointed kitchen with a great range of appliances, fresh herbs on the windowsill for guests to use and a dining table, which is perfect for relaxed family meals. There is also a utility cupboard for your laundry needs. Back to the hall and head upstairs to the two beautifully decorated bedrooms both with feature apex ceilings and Smart TV's. Outside hose for washing muddy paws! A paddock area is available for dogs, but occasionally there maybe sheep in the paddock so on this rare occasion a dog would need to go on a lead.
