A short 5 mile drive leads to the captivating National Trust property, Buckland Abbey, while those looking for a unique experience can venture further to explore Plymouth Gin (15 miles) or enjoy a day at Pennywell Farm (30 miles). Upon stepping into this exquisite retreat, you'll immediately be struck by the luxurious, airy design that graces the entire cottage. You can snuggle up on chilly evenings in front of the double sided wood burner (or enjoy the dancing flames from the bedroom). Completing this area is a dining space which is an ideal setting for casual meals. From here, a transition leads to the generously sized king size bedroom, replete with a lavish en suite bathroom featuring a bath, waterfall shower, and a WC. Sliding doors open to a private patio terrace, offering the perfect spot to savour the views right from your bed, making it an idyllic place to start the day on those fresh Devonshire mornings. The cottage benefits from its own patio terrace which can be accessed from the private driveway, or via the living and bedroom spaces. Relax on the comfortable outdoor seating and fire up the BBQ to enjoy while taking in the stunning views across the river. Take the short steps from the property up to the secluded hot tub your own little bit of luxury at this unique retreat. In addition to this, there is also a shared, heated indoor swimming pool just up the lane which can be booked for private use too.
