This wonderful property is situated in the heart of the attractive Somerset village of Nether Stowey which lies at the foot of the Quantock Hills. This thriving village has two pubs, a Post Office, butchers and a grocery store and well known connections, once being the home to the romantic poet Coleridge, his cottage is now open and is owned by the National Trust. You will be 5.5 miles from the beautiful rocky beach at Kilve, or you could follow one of the many coastal paths which offer dramatic cliff top walks. Catch a train from Bishops Lydeard (10 miles) on the historic West Somerset steam railway that runs to the seaside town of Minehead. Other places of interest include Watchet (10 miles) with its marina, Dunster with its National Trust castle (16.5 miles), Hestercombe Gardens (9.5 miles), Cleeve Abbey (12 miles) and Exmoor National Park.
