Located 2 miles from the bustling market town of Kendal, which offers its weekly markets and plenty of places to enjoy good food and drink. Kendal s annual Mountain Film Festival and multiple street festivals throughout the year make for great evenings out. Also, nearbyand only 7.7 miles away is Lake Windermere, where you are beckoned to enjoy a day of excitement, enjoying water sports or rambling the fells. You are also welcome to leave the car at home as there is plenty to enjoy locally, with a wide range of activities from the doorstep, including walking, climbing, wild swimming, cycling, mountain biking and ghyll scrambling, close by.
