Tactile soft furnishings, potted palms and pieces of art in the living room juxtapose the minimalist white colour scheme and gloss marble floor. Sleek units, granite worktops and industrial light fittings in the kitchen feel high-end and bespoke. Torquay abounds with good places to eat including Michelin star The Elephant which is just fifteen minutes’ walk from the property, and Pier Point for a lazy lunch with marina and promenade views. There are gardens to stroll through at Torre Abbey, and woodland walks to explore at nearby Cockington Country Park, which is also a great spot for a Devon cream tea.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £200 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

For guest’s safety, the Vernon Court building has security cameras in the communal areas which include the main entrance and corridors. Guests will have full privacy when using the property though, as none of the cameras point into the actual property.
