Found in Angus, on Scotland's east coast, is the traditional market town of Forfar, with history dating back to Roman occupation, this town was a major manufacturing centre for linen and jute. Nowadays it's a tourist spot for visiting the stunning Strathmore and Angus Glens, as well as still maintaining traditional agriculture, with a monthly farmers' market held to showcase the local produce. Nearby towns include Arbroath and Carnoustie, as well as Dundee just under 13 miles away.
