Not far is the village and civil parish of Edale, a starting point for the Penine Way, boasting a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and close to attractions such as the Goyt Valley in Castle. Also close is the spa town of Buxton where tourists can visit a whole host of cultural attractions.
