Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size double and twin, plus a bathroom, this cottage can sleep four people. There is also an open-plan sitting room upstairs, including a kitchen, dining and sitting area. To the outside is a slate patio with seating, providing exceptional lake views. Off-road parking for two cars is also available. Grassholme is a fine base for family orientated or romantic getaways.
The ancient village of Hawkshead holds a collection of white-washed cottages, archways and squares beloved by Wiiliam Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. There are many pleasant inns, guest houses, team shops and gift shops. Most notably, the village is home to Beatrix Potter Gallery, which displays an annually changing exhibition of the famous author’s illustrations and stories.
