The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living area with a kitchen with electric oven and halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, dining seating for two and a sitting area with TV with Freeview, DVD player and CD player. There is a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Outside, there is a spacious independent garden, private patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 5.9 miles, you will find a shop, and within 3.6 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Note: One well behaved dog is welcome (additional charge applies) but not allowed upstairs or on the soft furnishings and it must be kept on a lead when outside the cottage as there are grazing animals in the fields. Note: Please bring your own cot linen and beach towels. Note: A complimentary basket of logs is provided and more are available on an honesty basis - £3 per large basket. This friendly village rests in the beautiful southwest corner of Scotland, within scenic East Ayrshire. Muirkirk benefits from a selection of local amenities, including a choice of places to enjoy a calming drink or two, as well as a convenience store and a Post Office. Within driving distance is the stunning coastline, the Firth of Clyde, the shores of which play host to the stunning former Royal Burgh of Ayr, offering plenty in terms of attractions. Also close to here is the well-stocked town of Kilmarnock. Further afield is the striking port city of Glasgow, a place well worth the journey as it abounds in fine architecture, unique attractions and superb places to eat and drink.
