The bustling Worth Valley Railway is a must-see for steam railway fans, and Halifax is home to the highly famous Eureka Museum, which is known for its unusual Piece Hall and Victorian architecture. The Dean Clough complex, which is only seven miles away, has wonderful architecture worth admiring. Skipton, known as the "Gateway to the Dales," and Holmfirth, made famous by Last of the Summer Wine, are both within easy driving distance.
