Hanwood is a large village situated in the county of Shropshire, with Shrewsbury a short journey away, and the Cambrian railway line running through. The village is home to a Post office, pub, school and church, as well as being within easy reach of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for walking, cycling and historic attractions. Shrewsbury and Telford are popular towns not too far away, both hosting fantastic days out for all the family.

A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
