Whithorn is a former Royal Burgh in the Machars Peninsula in Dumfries and Galloway, home to a selection of local shops, a café, medieval priory and an archaeological site. Local attractions include the beaches of Monreith, Garleston, and along Luce Bay, as well as the Aldouran Wetland, Castle Kennedy, and the Logan Botanic Gardens further afield. A fabulous rural hotspot for both Scottish country and coast.
