Dorchester, Dorset and Somerset
Bell Cottage rests in Dorchester and can sleep two people in one bedroom.
The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, dining seating for two and a sitting room with a Smart TV and open-fire. There is a double bedroom and a shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden and a car park close-by. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Apologies, no smoking allowed. Within 0.2 miles there is a shop and within 0.1 miles, a pub. Bell Cottage makes a wonderful escape to Dorset.
A vacation to Dorset would be incomplete without a stop in Dorchester, which boasts Roman roads, museums, and a diverse range of pubs and eateries. Visit the County Museum, which has a room dedicated to Thomas Hardy, who was born just two miles away in Bockhampton, for a lovely walk around Maiden Castle, England's largest hillfort. Weymouth's lovely gently shelving beaches and picturesque harbour are only seven miles away, as is Portland's craggy peninsula, linked to the mainland by Chesil Beach, which is part of the spectacular World Heritage Coastline. In fact, Dorset's magical spell will enchant you so much that you won't want to leave at the conclusion of your stay!
Explore the fossils and stunning beaches of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, visit historic Sherborne and Shaftesbury, or enjoy the footpaths, country lanes and thatched-roof pubs Dorset offers.
