2 The Old Coach House is a quirky, semi-detached cottage resting in Ambleside, Cumbria and can sleep three people in two bedrooms.

The living areas in the cottage include an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a utility cupboard containing a washer/dryer, a dining table for four people, and a sitting area with a TV. The bedrooms consist of a mezzanine king-size zip/link and a queen-size, along with a ground-floor bathroom. Outside, there is a small, front patio with a bench, and an allocated parking space for one small/medium-sized car. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.1, a pub, and within 0.6, Lake Windermere. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, however smoking is not permitted. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. 2 The Old Coach House is a prime location for romantic breaks or three friends to explore the Lake District National Park. Note: The property is next to a main road and there is traffic noise. Note: There are high ceilings and skylights throughout the living areas without blinds. Note: There are small steps leading up to the bathroom, living area and stairs, please take care. Note: There is limited side access to the queen-size bed. Note: There is a small, glass floor panel in the mezzanine king-size looking down onto the sitting area, please take care. Note: Check-in at 4pm, check-out by 10am.

Ambleside, located north of Lake Windermere, is an excellent location for exploring the Lake District. Grasmere and the Langdale Valley are just a short drive away, and there is plenty to do here, including cruises, boat trips, and watersports. There a variety of shops, restaurants, and pubs to satisfy all interests in Ambleside. The parkland at Waterhead gives beautiful views down the lake and a brief stretch of beach, while a walk through woodland leads to the enchanting Stock Ghyll Force.
