Kirkby-in-Furness is a hamlet on the Furness peninsula that overlooks the Duddon estuary. The settlement has a general shop and two pubs, as well as a Cumbrian Coast Line railway station. Broughton-in-Furness is only five miles away and has plenty to offer visitors, including a charming cobbled plaza with a magnificent horse chestnut tree, surrounded by shops, bars, and residences.
