The open-plan living space includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a dining area and a sitting area with electric fire and TV. There is a double bedroom and shower room. To the outside is a decking with furniture and off-road parking for one car located across the bridge, opposite to te lodge. Within 0.6 miles there is a shop and within 0.3 miles there is a pub. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. This property does not accept pets or smoking. Robin’s Nest is a delightful escape to the Lakelands, whatever time of year. Note: The lodge is accessed via four steps and is then all on ground level. Note: Robin's Nest Lodge has its own broadband connection that should be suitable for streaming services, bookings cannot be accepted if they are solely reliant on the provision of uninterrupted/unlimited WiFi and we are not held responsible or liable for loss of connection.
Keswick, the popular tourist destination in the north of the Lake District, has something to offer visitors at any time of year. The town offers a variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and excellent mountain biking opportunities, while the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The lovely Newlands Valley is close by, between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the gorgeous Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. There is something for everyone, from a quiet countryside stroll to a tough walk up Skiddaw or the famed Catbells. Take a boat excursion around Derwentwater or see Castlerigg Stone Circle, Jennings Brewery, and Mirehouse, a stately house and gardens on the Bassenthwaite Lake's shoreline. With abundance of kid-friendly attractions, beautiful parks, and the neighbouring Lake District Wildlife Park, this is a fantastic Lakeland trip any time of year.
