Bude has a golf course, indoor pool, bowling alley/indoor play area, and Castle Heritage Centre. It has shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and an excellent Information Centre. Warbstow Bury, a hill fort with panoramic views, is a short drive away. Take the coast road north to see the Hartland Point lighthouse or walk or ride a donkey down Clovelly's steep, cobbled village street to the harbour and pub below. Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur's castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin's Port Wenn at Port Isaac, and Polzeath are along the opposite coast.
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
