The charming port of Penryn, one of the oldest market towns in Cornwall, has a rich history of harbour architecture and magnificent granite houses that sharply slope along the cobbled lanes down to the sea. The town offers a good selection of eateries, cafes, and bars, as well as a museum with free admission and the serene Enys Gardens on the town's outskirts, which offer a variety of grounds and a pleasant retreat. The renowned seaport of Falmouth is located just one mile from the Penryn River further downstream. It offers a variety of entertainment options, including harbour-side bars and restaurants with breathtaking views, gorgeous Blue Flag beaches, and a bustling town centre.
