The living areas in this single-storey pod consist of a studio-style layout with double bed with TV, kitchen and sitting area serviced by a shower room. Outside there is plenty of off-road parking and an enclosed lawn with covered deck area with garden furniture. Within 4.6 miles there is a shop and 4.9 miles a pub. One well-behaved dog is welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Pod is a wonderful dwelling for a romantic retreat in Shropshire. Note: This property is set on the owner's working farm, home to donkeys, goats, sheep and a dog kennel.
Just 10 miles from the mediaeval city of Shrewsbury is the thriving village of Minsterley, located in the picturesque Shropshire Hills. Minsterley has a pub, one of the village's oldest buildings, a shop and Post Office, and a fantastic fish and chip shop! One mile away, in the village of Pontesbury, you'll find takeaways and restaurants, as well as Arscott Golf Club, Springlea Fishing Pools, and the Pontesbury cycle/footpath. If you enjoy nature walks and wildlife watching, The Long Mynd in the area is a great place to unwind and take in the breath-taking views. On a bend of the Severn River, Shrewsbury, England's finest heritage town, boasts more than 600 listed buildings. Shrewsbury's Summer Season is one of the many festivals that take place in the town each year. With a magnificent abbey dating back to 1083 and a castle set in beautiful gardens and grounds that houses the Shropshire Regimental Museum, the town of Shrewsbury has a lot to offer history buffs.
