Coverack is a small fishing village in Cornwall, just a few miles from the most southerly point of mainland Britain at Lizard Point. Coverack is a lovely town located away from the hustle and bustle of more popular tourist destinations, and it features a beach in a sheltered bay that is great for swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking, in addition to other amenities like a pub and shops. St. Keverne, located four miles from Poldowrian, is home to a Post Office, several stores, and two watering holes. The Lizard Peninsula is home to some of the world's most unique and beautiful geology and flora, as well as a number of stunning bays and beaches. Wonderful sea views can be had from Lizard Point's windswept cliffs, which also make for great hiking along this section of the South West Coast Path. Helston, a market town further inland, hosts the annual Flora Day Festival, and Gweek is home to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. The drive to Flambards amusement park is short, and the Culdrose Airfield, where the public can meet the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy once a year, is less than fifteen miles away. Coverack is a great base from which to explore the rest of The Lizard Peninsula, as well as the picturesque coastal communities of St. Ives and Falmouth and their many beaches and quaint towns.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
