This single-storey cottage has one super king-size bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request) with a TV and en-suite shower room, along with a cloakroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with an electric fire. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer and for entertainment there are two TVs and WiFi. Outside, there is allocated parking for one car, bike storage and a front, enclosed garden with a patio, gravelled area and furniture. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, this is a smoke-free property. You can find a shop in 0.2 miles, a pub in 0.1 mile and a beach in 0.8 miles. Sarah’s Cottage is a characterful base for a romantic break to the Yorkshire seaside.
Flamborough sits on a lovely Yorkshire peninsula 4 miles from Bridlington. Flamborough offers ramblers, historians, and birdwatchers old fishermen's cottages and a selection of taverns and restaurants. Flamborough Head has two historic lighthouses, one of which is the oldest in Britain, established in 1674. To the north of the hamlet, 400-foot cliffs host one of England's greatest seabird colonies. Explore Bempton's puffins, South Landing's natural pathways, Danes Dyke's woodland ravine, and North Landing's smugglers' tunnels. Fish or explore marine caves by boat. Flamborough Head has great coastal vistas and fresh sea air.
