The famous beers made in the three breweries located here are made with the high quality Tadcaster water, which is consumed all over the world. One of the oldest breweries in the UK, John Smith's, was established in 1758 and offers frequent and well-liked tours through the facility.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
