The community of Luddenden and the magnificent oak woodlands that make up Jerusalem Farm, a nearby nature reserve made well-known by the television programme In Loving Memory, are located on the other side of the valley. Restaurants, cafés, bistros, markets, an independent movie theatre, art galleries, and the gorgeous Rochdale Canal can all be found in the eclectic and bohemian town of Hebden Bridge, which is close by.
