This single-storey shepherd’s hut has a studio-style layout with a double bed, kitchen and dining area with a woodburning stove, along with a shower room. Appliances include an electric two-ring hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and hot chocolate maker, and WiFi. Outside, there is off-road parking and a garden with a gravelled area and furniture, as well as access to a private on-site lake with fishing (please bring your own fishing equipment). Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a pet-free, smoke-free property. You can find a shop within 1 mile and a pub within 0.6 miles. Gwithian Shepherds Hut is a lovely space for a romantic retreat to Cornwall.
A significant RSPB wildlife estuary flows out of Hayle in the remote southwest corner of Cornwall and into the stunning St. Ives Bay, where visitors can enjoy three miles of golden sand beaches, walks, history, and wildlife. Hayle offers a variety of activities ashore as well. Paradise Park is a wildlife sanctuary where visitors can see amazing parrots, otters, and red pandas. The harbour and estuary area of Hayle are home to a variety of stores, eateries, and bars. Skittles and kart racing are available for the whole family, and Lelant, a mile outside of Hayle, has one of Cornwall's top links golf courses.
