The living areas in the property consist of a studio-style layout with double bed, kitchen equipped with gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, two dishwashers and a coffee machine, a dining area with seating for two guests and a sitting area with TV. There is also a shower room and cloakroom. Outside there is a private front lawn, as well as off-road parking available outside the black barn. Within 0.7 miles you will find a shop and within 0.8 miles, a pub and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Stone Barn is a lovely escape in the South of England. Note: The property is on a working farm. The village of Ticehurst is very charming and quaint and is an ideal base with some fantastic pubs, a Post Office, village shop, tea rooms and a church. Visit the gallery and stroll along the lovely streets of this delightful village. There are a number of attractions in the nearby area including the reservoir of Bewl Water, the largest lake in Southern England, is nearby, where everyone of all ages can enjoy water sports including sailing and canoeing. Of course, fishing is also very popular, either from one of the many boats visitors can book or from the quiet bays that are scattered around the lake. Cycling, walking and bird watching make this a popular day out for all the family. Hever, with its village built especially for Henry VIII to house his guests, has been the locational setting for many films and TV programmes. Visit the National Trust properties of Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst or Chartwell, with their fabulous gardens and fascinating history. Royal Tunbridge Wells is another popular place to visit, with its spa water, cobbled streets, tea rooms and quaint shops. Enjoy shopping in style before indulging in afternoon cream teas, or why not stay on into the evening and take in a show at one of the three theatres? A trip to Hastings, the abbey at Battle or bustling Brighton can all be enjoyed from Ticehurst, which is perfectly placed for all types of vacation.
