The Snug’s living areas consist of a kitchen equipped with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a dining area with seating for two guests and a sitting area with Smart TV and electric stove-effect fire. There is one double bedroom, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio and furniture, and roadside parking is available nearby. Within 0.5 miles you will find a shop and a pub and please note that one well-behaved dog is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Snug is a wonderful base for a Derbyshire escape. Please note: This property can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Sorry, children and infants cannot be accommodated. The upmarket village of Duffield is set just south of Belper and is home to some fantastic attractions and a number of pubs and restaurants. Visit the remains of Duffield Castle, play a round at Chevin Golf Club or explore one of the numerous walks in the area. Nearby Belper is a town with a long and famous history dating back to the 13th century, when it was then called Beaurepaire (beautiful retreat), a name that still holds true today. Now you'll find it to be a spirited and bustling town, with attractions including the North Mill, Long Row and the River Gardens. Just 14 miles away, the popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, are set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent. The Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a whole host of other exciting attractions.
