The living areas in this first-floor apartment consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine, and a sitting room with electric fire, Smart TV with Freeview and DVD player, and a selection of books, games, and DVDs. There is a king-size bedroom with TV and a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed sun terrace with furniture, and off-road parking for one car. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair and travel cot. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles, and the beach in 0.9 miles. The Loft offers a central base for a Somerset getaway. Note: There are steps between the kitchen and sitting room; please take care.
On the gorgeous West Somerset Coast, the well-liked beach town of Minehead is located in a wonderful, sheltered area beneath the magnificent North Hill. This friendly town has a mile-long esplanade that beautifully frames the golden beach, and the charming harbour, which is frequented in the summer by the renowned paddle steamer Waverley, provides good fishing chances. The West Somerset Railway offers historic steam train rides from the seashore. You may also visit Blenheim Gardens, which has won numerous prizes for its exquisite floral displays. Exmoor National Park, known for having the largest herd of red deer in England, is well worth a visit, as is the magnificent Norman Castle at Dunster, which is close.
