The living areas in this single-storey shepherd’s hut consist of a studio-style layout with double bed, kitchenette equipped with induction 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and a dining area with seating for two guests and blue-tooth sound system. Wall mounted electric heater. There is also a shower room. Outside there is a private front garden with lawn, patio, furniture, outdoor bath tub and fire pit and ample off-road parking is available. Within 1.5 miles you will find a shop, within 0.2 miles, a pub and river and please note that this is a non-smoking property. One small well-behaved dog allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Coombe Valley Shepherds Hut is a lovely base for your next Devon getaway. Note: The shower room is quite compact which may not be suitable for guests with lower mobility. Note: There are four steps up to the property. Note: The owners live in the property next door and are available for a chat, adviceon the local area etc, but guests will be left to enjoy their own space and privacy. They do have a small dog - Ted - who might occasionally wander in your direction. Note: The garden is bordered by a stream and is not suitable for young children, but couples are welcome to bring a young babyand a travel cot but the dining table and chairs would have to be folded away to make room for this

Shaldon is a pretty Regency village on the opposite bank to the historic, seaside town of Teignmouth in South Devon, situated on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a selection of pubs, shops, tea rooms for your amenities. Boasting a number of tourist attractions, including a small zoo, something your little ones will delight in, whilst you can explore the popular Shaldon Approach Golf Club and Shaldon Botanical Gardens. Due to its coastal location, you will have opportunities for those interested in watersporting activities, such as fishing and sailing. A popular village less than four miles away from the thriving seaside town of Torquay.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
