The living areas in this single-storey property consist of a studio-style layout with king-size bed, kitchenette with electric two-ring hob, microwave and fridge with ice box, a dining area with seating for two guests and a sitting area. There is also a shower room. Outside there is a private patio with furniture, and off-road parking is available. Within 2.1 miles you will find a shop, within 2.1 miles, a pub and a river and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Tan Y Castell Shepherds Hut is a superb base for your next Welsh getaway. Note: The property is based on a working farm. Explore the green valley by steam train or canal boat, or take an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town, in order to enjoy the breathtaking view. Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops. Keep entertained with an exhilarating trip whitewater rafting down the River Dee, followed by an adventurous Mountain Bike ride in Llandegla, or for a more leisurely experience, unwind with a relaxing afternoon in one of the local spas! The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are within easy driving distance, while a day-long car trail can take you to visit six of the ‘Seven Wonders of Wales’. Offa’s Dyke Path passes nearby and boasts pleasant walking along the crest of the Clwyd hills, plus the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a World Heritage Site, is 5 miles away, and Snowdonia is less than an hour’s drive.
