Stable Cottage is a semi-detached, single-storey cottage situated on the edge of the village of Sutton-Under-Whitestonecliffe, four miles from Thirsk. This cottage sleeps two people in a king-size double bedroom. The cottage also has a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed, communal gravelled courtyard with furniture. Stable Cottage is an ideal holiday home for a romantic retreat, with walks from the door, market towns nearby, as well as the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.
The town of Thirsk is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east. The town offers a quaint market place, Georgian buildings, a Norman church, shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, a leisure centre and the World of James Herriott Museum.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
