The Studio is a semi-detached cottage near to Stamford Bridge in Yorkshire. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom, a double sofa bed and a family bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Just a short drive from the city of York and with easy access to the Moors, The Studio is a lovely holiday home in a wonderful area.
Stamford Bridge was a fording point over the River Derwent for a Roman settlement, but nowadays is a town with a selection of shops and restaurants. The village is the site of the Battle of Stamford Bridge on 25 September 1066, which marked the end of the Viking era in Britain.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
