All visitors will love the beach and its cliff top walks, whilst more serious climbers can enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the town such as the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks. The village is located between two thriving seaside destinations – Whitby and Scarborough, which each offer amusements, beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants. Robin Hood's Bay itself also offers good amenities, including shops, restaurants pubs and an ice cream parlour.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
