Manna Cottage is a terraced cottage in the centre of Grassington. The property has a king-size double bedroom, along with a shower room upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and gas fire. Outside is a handy utility, and off road parking for one car. Manna Cottage is also just a moment's stroll away from the amenities of Grassington, making it a convenient and cosy base for this part of the Dales. Note: Although this property has no garden of its own, there is a shallow pond outside the front door from the sitting room, young children to be supervised.
Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer's market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk". A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
