The Store Rooms is a semi-detached cottage in the town of Whitby, just six miles from Robin Hood's Bay. The cottage sleeps two in one double bedroom with en-suite and a separate basin and WC. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking on a first come, first served basis, with a parking permit provided for one car. Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, The Store Rooms is a lovely romantic cottage from which to explore this lovely part of the world. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Please be aware: This property can sleep 4, but not 4 adults. 2 adults and 2 children is fine or a combination of this. If you are unsure if your party is suitable, please call to check.
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
