The property also has shower room. The rest of the barn conversion contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. With Tenbury Wells and Luldow nearby, Ham's House is an ideal base for a romantic retreat.
The small village of Milson boasts an 11th century church and beautiful unspoilt countryside. The nearby riverside village of Neen Sollars dates back to the Saxon times and is home to the popular 'Live and Let Live' pub serving real ale and home-cooked food. Just three miles away, beneath the shadow of the mystical Clee Hills, the pretty town of Cleobury Mortimer provides a refreshing selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in an array of Georgian and Tudor architecture, along with a striking parish church with an unusual, twisted spire.
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
