There are two art galleries in the town, which is also home to the Museum of Modern Arts, Wales, which stages exhibitions, concerts and lectures. Just ten miles from the coast, Machynlleth is also ideally placed for taking advantage of superb walking, riding, fishing and rock climbing available in the area.
