Lowdale Barns West is a barn converted bungalow located in the North Yorkshire village of Sleights. It has a double bedroom and a shower room, it can sleep two people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside there is off road parking for one car as well as a private patio and a shared lawn area. Lowdale Barns West is a beautiful cottage in a great location.
Sleights is ideal for a coastal and a country holiday. It's 4 miles from the coastline, it is also on the edge of the moors, with attractive villages and scenery. Sleights has a pub, a fish and chip shop, an antique shop with a café, a butcher's, a bakery, a hairdressers and a Post Office within a shop. The North Yorkshire Steam Railway is nearby, together with the port of Whitby. Whitby lies at the River Esk and is situated for exploring this part of Yorkshire. It is a town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a harbour, sandy beaches and, of course, the abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
