Swallow Barn is a secluded, semi-detached cottage near St Kew, handily placed for exploring the famous fishing village of Port Isaac. The house sleeps two people in one bedroom and has a neat bathroom with corner bath. There’s a kitchen and sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area. Outside, an enclosed, shrub and flower-filled back garden with paved patio, garden furniture, awning and chimenea, plus a privately positioned Japanese-style wood-fired hot tub. To the front, a gravelled approach and off road parking for one car. Swallow Barn is a quiet, stylish all-year-round holiday home.

Not far from Port Isaac, St Kew is a small village – the first recorded in Cornwall! - on the north Cornish coast. The village church dates from the fifteenth century and is home to some remarkable stained glass windows. Also in St Kew is a traditional village pub and a golf course, and there is a donkey sanctuary at St Kew Highway. The St Kew Inn also dates from the fifteenth century, and boasts a lovely open fire in winter and a pretty beer garden for sunshine drinks in the summer. There are some lovely walks in the countryside surrounding St Kew, including a circular route through the river valleys.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
