Blackbrae Cabin is a single storey, studio log cabin set on the outskirts of Glenboig near Coatbridge. Hosting one double bedroom and shower room, this log cabin can sleep two people. There is also an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the exterior is a patio with furniture and barbecue, as well as ample off-road parking. Resting close to the bustling city of Glasgow, Coatbridge is an attractive town with a strong mining history. During the 19th century, Coatbridge became a major centre for mining and the production of iron and steel. Today, visitors can learn about the town’s history at Summerlee – The Museum of Scottish Industrial Life which rests on the site of the former Summerlee Ironworks. The town is also home to other attractions such as the Time Capsule leisure centre and the Drumpellier Country Park, along with boasting a range of shops and eateries.
