West Lodge is a detached, 19th century building and can be found in Rockbourne, Hampshire. It faces the entrance gate with a view over the surrounding fields toward the down. Inside is an open plan living room with French windows that lead to the garden, a dining area and fitted kitchen. There is one super king-size bedroom with a separated bathroom. Outside you will find a paved courtyard with furniture provided. Homemade meals, breakfast hamper and delivery of local produce can be arranged with the owner. Off street parking is accessible. West Lodge is ideal for a romantic getaway. The Lodges at West Park are situated at one end of the picturesque ancient village of Rockbourne. A walk through the village takes you past many thatched brick and timber cottages alongside the bourne (stream). The Rose and Thistle pub is at the other end, a stroll back could include a visit to the 11th/12th century church of Saint Andrew with its flint structure and tiled roof. The famous Rockbourne Roman Villa is a short walk away from the lodges.
